私たちのホリディ・ホームからそう遠くないところに、エデン・プロジェクト（the Eden Project）があります。
ロンドンからですと、列車で６時間、車では４時間もかかるんですよ。
エデン・プロジェクトは、2001年の3月に公開されましたが、時々「世界で八番目の不思議」と呼ばれています。
粘土の採掘場だった場所に幾何学的なドームを3つ繋げたものが2つ建っており、それぞれ「熱帯雨林ゾーン(Rain Forest Zone)」と、「地中海ゾーン（Mediterranean Zone)」となっています。
どのガーデンも年間を通じて美しく、存在する人間世界と世界の植物の関係を探検するのには最適な場所です。
Our holiday home is not too far from the Eden Project. From London it takes six hours on the train and over 4 hours by car.

世界で一番大きな花（匂いは、とてもひどいものですが）、タイタンユリ(巨人百合）の前に立っているのが孫です。
エデンでは、3年に一度だけ咲く花なんですって。
We spent the day there with our grandson. He is standing near the Titan Lily. It's the largest flower in the world and smells terrible. It flowers every 3 years at Eden.
