6月になったので、コーンウォールのサマー・ホームに３週間程滞在しています。
コーンウォール（Cornwall）は、英国の南西の端に位置します。地図をご覧になってくださいね。
私たちがいるのはコーンウォールの北部にあるビュード（Bude)という、植物もよく育つ穏やかな気候の町です。また、私たちのサマー・ホームからおよそ2マイルの海岸線を通るサウスーウェストコーストパスと呼ばれる道は散歩にも最適です。

Now we are in the month of June so we visited our summer home in Cornwall for three weeks. Cornwall is in the far south-west of England. You may like to follow our journey on a map. We are in North Cornwall, at Bude where the climate is very good for growing plants. It is also very good walking country with the South-West Coast Path passing through two miles from our summer home.

サマーホームの周りの芝は、この冬のストームでダメージを受けていたので、ケアしてあげるつもりです。

The lawn round our summer home is badly damaged from the bad winter storms so we shall have to feed the grass well.

3週間というもの、お天気は上々で、結構暑くなってきましたが、時折雷を伴う夕立があり、小さな庭に十分な水を供給してくれています。

We had three weeks of amazing weather, getting very hot with a few thunderstorms and the occasional heavy shower which well watered our little garden.
